In Reading, groups will be finishing or nearly finishing their novels this week. 

There will be new spelling words this week.  The list can be found on the spellingcity website.  There will be practice homework for spelling Monday-Thursday and the quiz will be on Friday.

In writing we will be finishing up our Ecosystems projects.

There will be a test on Chapter 5 in Math this week.

There will be an informational parent meeting regarding the High Trails Outdoor Education Experience on March 6 at 6:30.  Please mark your calendars so you and your student can join us for a short presentation from Chris Tholl, the director of the High Trails program, along with a question and answer period.
Also, be looking for a letter to be coming home in Thursday folders soon outlining the cost, dates, and times.

AND THE PROJECTS ARE IN...
I am looking forward to each student presenting their ancestors project the week of January 30.  They all look great and I can't wait to hear some interesting family history facts.

Thank you to all our family and friends who attended the PLES night at Chuck E. Cheese.  The fund raiser added another $226 to our High Trails fund.  Thank you Chuck E. Cheese for supporting area schools.

As the yearbook photographer at the college, Kaelyn took lots of great pictures from our day at Towne.  Check them out on the Young AmeriTowne website.  Find the Day in Town tab, use the password Yaef, and find the date we went to town (Nov. 3,).  Looks like everyone was busy and having fun.
